Let's get anchored.
JESUS + NEUROSCIENCE + CONNECTION
“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”
James 1:19
What this means for your parenting todayI am exactly the parent my child needs.
Say it once out loud before the hard part of your day. Your nervous system listens to your own voice first.

Made by a human, not an algorithm
Hi — I'm Laura!
The Big Feelings Toolkit is written by a real Christian child therapist — not an algorithm. I'm so glad you're here! I've spent over 15 years sitting with children and families in the hardest, most tender moments of parenting... But I'm also a mom who has navigated lots of behaviors, anxiety, sass, and meltdowns (both my kids and my own!) Helping parents work through the hardest moments is my passion project.
Everything in this app is written the way I'd say it to you sitting across the room. And I built this to be what I need in my OWN hard moments, when my triggers hit deep and my thinking brain goes offline.
Read my storyConnection first. Everything else follows. You're doing the best you can — Jesus covers the rest.
